The Ay valley, is situated at the heart of the Ardèche, in between the valley of the Rhône and the mountains of the Haut-Vivarais, offering in all seasons a great variety of vistas and landscapes. The Canson and Montgolfier Stationary museum brings back to life the stationary of the 17th century, and is found at the ancestral home of the Montgolfier brothers. This museum in Annonay, is the only place in the world where you can see a full sized paper machine in working order.

The activity centre at the Lake Devesset offers calm and relaxation at the edge of a 51 hectare lake bordered by conifers (with a sailing school, swimming areas and games, fishing, water sports, walking tracks, and mountain bike trails), approximately an hour away from the guest houses.

Relax at the natural spa, at the source in the high plateau of Saint Bonnet le Froid. Nestled at an altitude of 1130metres, overlooking the Doux valley and the Ardèche mountains, and with a variety of facilities (Jacuzzis, massage beds, herbal saunas, hammam, ice fountain…) Located 30 kilometres from la Chomotte.

The safari park at Peaugres, an 80 hectare expanse at the heart of the Ardèche, open since 1974, has a collection of animals from all four continents of the world. By foot, in a car or bus, there are a thousand animals of 134 different species on display. The park is located 20 kilometres from the guest houses.
